Privacy Policy

This explains what we collect when you make a press kit, where it is kept, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
DJ EPK Maker is run by Inkognito Events, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Only what a press kit needs, and only what you type or upload:
| Your email | To sign you in and to send your finished kit. It is the only thing we ask for before you start. |
|---|---|
| Your kit | DJ name, biography, genres, highlights, venues, phone number, website and social links — whatever you choose to put in. |
| Your images | The photos and logo you upload. |
| Your orders | Which design you bought, when, and what was paid. |
We do not buy data about you and we do not track you across other websites. We do not send you marketing you did not ask for — the single exception is a few lines at the bottom of your kit email about the Inkognito Records newsletter, described below.
Where it is kept, and who else handles it
We are a small operation and we use established services to do the heavy lifting. Each one only gets what it needs:
| Cloudflare | Runs the website and the editor, and keeps sign-in links for the fifteen minutes they are alive. |
|---|---|
| Airtable | Holds your record: your email, the words in your kit, and your orders. |
| Google Drive | Holds your photos, your logo and your finished PDFs, in a private folder. It is not shared with anyone and it is not public. |
| OpenAI | Only when you use an AI tool. See below. |
| Stripe | Takes the payment. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us — we never see or store them. |
| Resend | Sends your sign-in links and your finished kit. |
| Make | Carries the payment confirmation from Stripe to your order. |
These services run in various countries, so your information is processed outside the United Arab Emirates.
The AI tools
If you use the AI biography writer, the text you have entered is sent to OpenAI to write or improve it. If you use the AI photo enhancer, that photo is sent to OpenAI.
Nothing is sent unless you press one of those buttons. If you would rather no AI service saw your words or your face, write your own biography and upload your photos without enhancing them — everything else works exactly the same.
The Inkognito Records newsletter
The same people run a record label, Inkognito Records. The email that carries your finished kit ends with a few lines about its newsletter, which gives you a free album when you join.
We never pass your address to it. The link opens a form where you type your address in yourself, and the list then emails you to confirm before it sends you anything. If you ignore the link, nothing happens — your address stays with DJ EPK Maker and the label never sees it.
The form is a Google Form, so what you enter there goes to Google and to Inkognito Records, not through us. Once you have joined, that newsletter is Inkognito Records' to run, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
Three, and all of them are needed for the thing to work:
- one that keeps you signed in, for thirty days;
- one that remembers the last email you signed in with, so the login box can fill itself in, for one day;
- one that remembers which order the thank-you page is waiting for, for one hour.
There are no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare's analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
How long we keep it
Your kit stays as long as your account does, so that you can come back to it. Sign-in links delete themselves after fifteen minutes. We keep a record of purchases for our own accounts.
Deleting your information
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will remove your record, your photos and your kits.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, or to correct anything that is wrong.
Keeping it safe
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection. There are no passwords to steal, because there are none — signing in is a one-time link that expires in fifteen minutes and works once. Your photos sit in a private folder that is not reachable without signing in as you.
No service can promise it will never be broken into. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.
Age
DJ EPK Maker is not for anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters to you, we will say so by email rather than quietly editing the page.
Getting in touch
Any question about your information, to [email protected]. A person reads it.
